When in

Pray
When in
Dauis, strengthen your faith. Pray at the centuries-old Our Lady of the Assumption Shrine despite it almost being toppled by an earthquake in 2013. Take some blessed holy water drawn from the well of a spring the church was built around. Drop off some generous donations for the charity works and maintenance of the church and its other facilities. As of the moment though, church services are held at the open field adjacent to the church edifice and at the nearby Terraza de Mariveles. This is because painstaking restoration works are still being done on the original church structure.
Love
When in
Dauis, fall in love with mother nature. Explore the interior of the Hinagdanan Cave in barangay Bingag, go snorkeling in the various beach sites of barangays Bingag, Biking, and Dao, learn a little more about bees and companion farming at the Bohol Bee Farm, or fall in love with learning traditional ways of doing things also at Bohol Bee Farm.

Also fall in love with history and heritage by visiting century old sites such as the Borja Bridge and the Dauis Church Complex. The Borja Bridge was built during the Spanish colonial era and is more than a century old. It is one of two bridges that connect mainland Bohol to Panglao Island.

Dauis Church Complex is where several historical structures are located such as the old convent, the Nuestra Señora de la Asuncion Roman Catholic Church and the
baluarte or watchtower site.

One may also pay respects to the 136 soldiers of the town who fought against the invading Japanese during World War II. You can do this by visiting the World War II Veterans Memorial right outside the town hall.

And if you love shopping, souvenirs abound at the Hinagdanan Cave, at the Bohol Bee Farm, and at the Handumanan Gift Shop sharing space with Cafe Lawis. You can also shop for pasalubong around the various tourist spots in Dauis. Cafe Lawis has particularly interesting delicacies.
